REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NOTICE OF PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Proposals are requested for Food Service Management and will be received, publicly opened and immediately read thereafter by the Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education through Anne Spano, Treasurer at the Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education offices, in West Jefferson, Ohio, on April 18, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Board Conference Room, 906 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162.
Copies of the Request for Proposals will be available at the Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education offices, 906 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162, beginning on February 24, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding legal holidays and via email to: aspano@westjeff.org
A pre-proposal conference with interested proposers to review the specifications, to clarify any questions, and for a walk-through of the facilities with school officials will be held on March 13, 2025 1:00 PM, at Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education Office, 906 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Attendance is required.
Proposals must be submitted in sealed packages. The sealed packages shall be delivered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to the Treasurer’s Office of the Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education Office, 906 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162. The sealed packages shall bear the name and address of the proposer and shall be marked "Food Services Management Proposal." The original and four (4) copies of each proposal should be submitted. Additionally, a minimum of 2 electronic copies via flash drive.
All proposals MUST be submitted and time-stamped by the Treasurer’s Office no later than 12:00 p.m. on April 18, 2025. Proposals will not be accepted after this time. The Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education will not be liable for any proposals lost in the mail or misdirected by any party.
Evaluation of proposals is expected to begin on April 21, 2025 and be completed by May 16, 2025. The projected award date for the contract is June 10, 2025. These dates are subject to change based upon the number and nature of received proposals, ISS approval process, and any unforeseen factors.
The Jefferson Local Schools Board of Education reserves the right to reject all proposals or to waive informality if such would be in the best interests of the Board of Education.
